It's interesting to see how cyclical fashion is and how today we're back to Vintage fashion, to crochet and knitting on the catwalks, to the "granny squares" of our grandmothers, which were often used to make bedspreads with super colorful scrap yarn.
My 84-year-old neighbor was showing me the other day a bag she made in flowered grannies, which she didn't wear because she thought it was out of fashion. I showed her how, after all, she is very current. She has already worn it again, proudly. ;-)
This neighbor offered me a cloth bag that was recycled: she crocheted a square and sewed it on the cloth, over the advertising. And it turned out really nice.
Such a simple pattern and at the same time so beautiful. It made me remember a beautiful white dress! Let new ideas come and new recycling. Crochet will never be out of fashion.
É interessante ver como a moda é cíclica e como hoje voltamos à moda Vintage, ao crochê e ao tricô nas passerelles, aos "granny squares" das nossas avós e que serviam muitas vezes para fazer colchas para a cama com restos de fio, super coloridos.
A minha vizinha de 84 anos mostrava-me no outro dia uma bolsa feita por ela em grannies às flores, a qual ela não usava porque pensava que estava fora de moda. Eu mostrei-lhe como, afinal, está bem actual. Já a voltou a usar, orgulhosamente. ;-)
Esta mesma vizinha ofereceu-me um saco de pano que passou por uma reciclagem: crochetou um quadrado e cozeu-o no pano, por cima da publicidade. E ficou muito bonito.
Um padrão tão simples e ao mesmo tempo tão bonito. Fez-me lembrar de um lindíssimo vestido branco. Venham novas ideias e novas reciclagens. O crochet, esse nunca passará de moda.
