Kerchief - Crochet

 Size: finished measurements - 18x9" (excluding ties).

Materials:

. Grace from Patons (Art. 246060) 100% cotton; 1¾ oz. (50 g); 136 yds. (125 m); DK weight, 3 Light:

1 ball #60008 Natural;

. Crochet hook: size F/5 (3.75 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE;

. Blunt-end yarn needle.

Gauge: 6 clusters of 3 dc and 11 rows = 4" (10 cm). TAKE TIME TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

Ch 4.

Row 1: In 4th ch from hook work 2 dc, ch 1, and 3 dc; turn.

Row 2: Ch 3 - counts as dc; 2 dc in first dc, ch 1; 3 dc, ch 1, and 3 dc in next ch-1 sp - corner made; ch 1, 3 dc in last dc; turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in first dc, ch 1, 3 dc, in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; 3 dc, ch 1, and 3 dc in corner ch-1 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in last dc; turn.

Rows 4-18: Ch 3, 2 dc in first dc, *ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * to corner ch-1 sp; 3 dc, ch 1, and 3 dc in corner ch-1 sp; **ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp; rep from **, ending with ch 1, 3 dc in last dc; turn. Fasten off.

Ties 

Ch 50 (first tie) and attach it with sl st in first st of long edge of Kerchief; sc evenly across long edge; ch 50 (2nd tie). Fasten off. With blunt-end yarn needle, weave in ends.
