GYPSY SCARF 

Size: 42 inches long from point to point and 5 inches wide.

Gauge: 4ch loops to 4 1/2  inches and 7 rows to 3 inches over patt worked with Size H crochet hook. 

Materials: 2 x 1oz balls Red Heart Wintuk Knitting Worsted Weight One Size H crochet hook. 

Scarf: Using Size H hook work 143ch. Base row: Into 3rd ch from hook work 1sc, *5ch, skip 3ch, 1sc into next ch, rep from * to end. Turn. 35ch loops. Commence patt. 

1st row: Ss to center ch of first loop, 1sc into center ch, *5ch, 1sc into center ch of next 5ch loop, rep from * to end. Turn. Rep last row 5 times more.
Next row: Ss to center ch of first loop, 1sc into centre ch, *3ch, 1sc into center ch of next 5ch loop, rep from * to end. Fasten off. 

Abbreviations: 

Ch - chain; Patt - patter; Rep - repeat; Sc - single crochet; Ss - slip stitch.
